A year ago Papa and I planned a trip to Africa (post coming soon).....this trip was a dream come true.....not only was Africa ON my Buckwt List - Africa was the TOP destination on "the list".....
My body, however, had other ideas.....
I woke one day with a pain in my stomach - upper right quadrant -
I was going to Africa no matter what.....I'm stubborn like that.....
Life is funny.....
Never did I imagine when boarding that plane what journey I really was about to begin.....
The journey of navigating the healthcare system in a search for a "cure" or even a "diagnosis" .....
Countless surgeries - every single scar has its own story.....
Way too many hospital stays.....
More doctor appointments than I ever want to remember.....
Today and tomorrow I will consult with 2 specialists.....
I want to have a good feeling about these appointments....
I want to believe today is the day.....
We've got this - I have a monkey I need to spoil !
